Test mode, for your LRT board is controlled by switch number 8. 

 

 

When switch 8 is in the ON position, the board will be in local/test mode.

  

 

When the board is in test mode, pressing down on a rocker tab will cause the tab to light with out requiring any "light-on" message from the computer. Pressing up on a rocker tab will extinguish the light.

The board will send MIDI messages but will not receive MIDI messages when in test/local mode.

Local/test mode can be toggled while the board is on and active. The board does not have to be reset (unplugged and replugged) once switch 8 is changed.
