Featured Organ - Bubar

 

It's been a long time coming, but we finally finished the console for our new virtual organ. The highlights include: 

 

 

A large Apple computer which contains the software for the Hauptwerk operating system and six different organs; 

2 19" touch screens for the organ displays (each cabinet has an additional 15-20 pistons for presets); 

an HP 20" touch screen computer for displaying the music;  

a full AGO spec pedalboard including 6 programmable toe pistons; 

3 cherry wood tracker action keyboards with velocity sensitivity (which we can use for second touch capability)

The organs we have at present include two theatre organs, three classical organs, and a virtual steam calliope.  Individual organs are loaded with one rotary selector switch and a push button.

 

 

All the cabinet work (table, touch screen cabinets, and keyboard cheeks) was made here at home.  The keyboards, pedalboard, and bench was purchased from MIDI Works.

 

 

The heart of the operating system made by Hauptwerk is constantly being upgraded to new levels of amazement.  A new soon to be released version will give us even more hours of fun learning and playing.  There are many world organs that have already been sampled and can be purchased any time we have the extra cash.
